So what exactly is The ScavHunt you ask?
Wild? Insane? The work of crazed unpaid interns (possibly named Carl)? The eventual result of infinite monkeys typing at infinite keyboards for infinitely long? Maybe, but seriously, The FLVS ScavHunt is an amazing journey of interpretation and creativity which allows you and your team to delve into a plethora of enthralling challenges, solving each of them in your own unique ways (and at any time, any place, any path, or any pace).
Is The ScavHunt difficult?
Some may find it challenging, but you should be able to do it with your eyes closed. It’s just a matter of using your skills to find your own answers to the challenges as a team. Also, the judges like laughing at people bumping into The ScavHunt because their eyes were closed.
Why should I participate in The ScavHunt?
a. Everyone will be participating in The ScavHunt so this is a great way to have fun with all of your FLVS clubs friends. (Who knows, you may even make some new ones!)
b. You’ll have the opportunity to win fame and eternal glory. (Seriously, how often do you have the chance to do that?)
c. It’s fun.
I heard about The ScavHunt, but I’m not part of a club; what do I do?
Easy: join a club. You can find all the info here: http://flvsgetinvolved.wix.com/home
What supplies will I need for The ScavHunt?
Realistically: you, a team, creativity, computer access, ideas, and a sense of fun.
Surrealistically: a rowboat, geese, aiguilles, an abacus, mismatching socks, a pitchfork, rooks (both the bird and the chess piece), and access to a trained wizard.
