Since ScavReveal, we've got over a hundred challenges to judge. You all are insane. (Though not as insane as the judges.) We've officially started to go through and start the judging insanity. Right now our method is madness, picking random submission emails and judging those, lol.
We apologize for any delay of response; we got busy preventing World War 1 from happening at a Model UN conference. Stay tuned for more updates!

Hey there Scavvers!
It’s really hard to believe that the end is so near. There’s only a few more days to submit the rest of those challenges. However, we’re sure that by now at least some of you are dying to know the true identity of the judges. Well, we’re dying to tell you. ScavReveal is at 2pm this Friday (TODAY!) at http://tinyurl.com/scavreveal. Not only will you finally uncover the mystery of the judges’ identities, you can also hang out with us and ask questions (some of which we may answer). This also means that you must submit challenge #52 prior to this time in order to earn the points for it. If you can’t make it, don’t worry! The judges are going to do our very best to remember to record it so that all of you can enjoy the moment of revelation whether or not you were there. A few housekeeping notes as we near the end of the ScavHunt…
We will be giving our bonus points for all those who submitted their FLVS gear in challenge #80 once the hunt closes. If you have not yet challenged the Judge Sphinx in challenge # you must email the judges with the time you’d like to attempt the riddle soon! The latest time that will be allowed is Thursday at 9:00pm. Challenge #19 also must be completed by Thursday at 9:00pm. On Friday evening, the judges will stop updating the leaderboard on the ScavHunt website. That’s right: the leaderboards are going dark. You’ll have no way of knowing how many challenges other teams submit… mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha! So you’d better make sure that you submit as many as you can before midnight on Sunday. All challenges must be in by 12:00am on Monday, November 24th. Any challenges submitted after that time will not be accepted or scored. (But we may still look at them for the laughs.) THE FINAL RESULTS of the ScavHunt will be announced on Monday, December 1st via a TBA format. Until then, keep Scavving! The judges have noticed a very strange thing.
After all of the questions and anticipation about the TBA challenge, not a single team has completed it. I mean, we did go through all the trouble of coming up with something spontaneously. So the judges just want to remind you *hint wink nudge* about challenge #64. "Drink your smoothie, mustache man." PS: WorldFest is a fun event, so go support the other student activities and explore the world (not as much fun as ScavHunt, but still). PPS: So some of you have been having trouble with a certain challenge #46 (As in no one has gotten it, yet.). While the judges prefer the real thing, I overheard Judge 2 and Judge 4 talking. And, well, they don't call it WorldFest for no reason. ~The Traitorous Judge 3 Judge 6: Why did you just make that the title? It sounds so ominous.
Judge 1: Look, I know that none of us like to talk about this, but it is the last week. Judge 3: La la la la la I can't hear you. Judge 4: It just can't have gone by this fast. Have we double checked that the Time Traveling Trio isn't messing with us? Judge 1: Yes, we're pretty sure that they're not accelerating ScavHunt time, but are keeping a close watch on them and their magical pocket watches. Judge 5: This week is going to be insane. Judge 2: Yes, yes it will be. Judge 5: I mean, did you all see how many challenges the Scavvers submitted this weekend? Judge 8: Yeah, we're still judging them. Judge 7: The teams definitely know this is the home stretch. They're asking about ScavNight a lot, too. Judge 4: Yeah, trying to schedule another might be tricky. Judge 1: Yes, but at least there's the revealing party to look forward to. Judge 2: Oh, yes! I can't wait! They'll never believe it. Judge 3: When is that again? Judge 8: We're working on it. It's difficult to find a time that will work for the extra surprise we wanted to do and still be a time when a lot of people could make it. Judge 2: Can we have skittles at the identity revealing party? *all judges roll their eyes at Judge 2* Judge 3: *mumbles* Honestly, I wish you would just let it go! already Judge 4: No, no, no. We're not starting this again. One conversation making clever jokes with all of our challenges was enough thank you very much. Judge 6: Ok, well enough chit chat. We've got challenges to score. |
